Arctic Blast,  Bougainvillea Winter Protection.

Freezing Rain is expected. I cut back the bougainvilleas in the ground and covered them with a small ice chest.

Bougainvillea Greenhouse

This greenhouse isn't warm enough on it's own, so I added a pet heater that I'll turn on for the next 48 hours.

Bougainvillea Greenhouse just doesn't cut it

In 2022 I lost several bougainvilleas without the pet heater, the pet heater helped last year and hope it helps them through these next couple of freezing days.  

Cuttings in the Storage Room

I placed the cuttings in the storage room, hopefully they'll be warm enough. 

Baby Bougies Inside

These young bougainvilleas got to come inside the house and they'll be warm and cozy with a grow light on them.        

Large Bougainvillea Inside

This bougainvillea didn't fit in the greenhouse, so it had to come inside with the kitty kids.
